Shelley is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Physical Therapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher.

Shelley blends her training/experience of more than 20 years as a physical therapist with her knowledge of the wisdom of yoga to create a personalized, Individual Therapeutic Yoga program for your specific needs. An individual session or series is ideal if you currently have or are recovering from surgery, an injury, illness, or chronic condition. This therapeutic yoga is a very gentle style that prevents future injury and allows safe recovery from a current illness or injury. It allows people dealing with chronic pain or disease to participate in a consistent exercise program for improved overall health. Every individual therapeutic yoga session includes written instructions for a personally designed home practice.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a hands-on energy healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It promotes the body’s self-healing ability and provides a sense of peace and well-being in mind, body, and spirit. Reiki is administered by a gentle ‘laying of the hands while the fully-clothed client relaxes comfortably on a massage table. The client becomes deeply relaxed and may feel warmth or tingling under the practitioner’s hands and throughout the body. Reiki is widely used in healthcare settings in conjunction with traditional medical techniques. Reiki does not interfere with other treatments and can enhance their effects as it brings your body into a state of balance.
